let me just say anyone who missed this weekends shows of roh in florida have missed out...both shows were awesome...brought me back to the early tna days( when it was good and the fans were diehard)...plus it gave stepping stones to many of our local florida indies...why isnt there more about these shows on this message board???

It went very well.... it was the preshow opener... and the fans got into it... nice way to warm everyone up.... Brett again looked very good, and the finisher of Sean hitting him with a big Andre style butt splash got a few oohhs and ahhhs from the still arriving crowd..

Several reasons...

1.. It wasnt in tampa
2.. it wasnt in a used car lot
3.. it wasnt in a flea market...
4.. No one had scripts to hand out on what to cheer at each point in the show.
5.. Only afros that actually were grown on your own head are accepted at the door
6.. not enough fans from France post here enough to care

way to get the fcw fans interested in ROH there Lenny..

Honestly I think one of the reasons its not talked about much is due to the no photography gimmick they pull at shows. I don't understand it due to never being at a ROH show. After watching the ppv's I wanted to be @ the show last night but sadly it was Gasparilla and the cheap cherry vodka bottle I drank during the day caught up with me fast...

Trust me.. if they did a show in Tampa Id be the first one there (well...maybe behind jason w) and if allowed Id take some of the greatest photos ever from the event.

The shows look AMAZING and wether you wear an afro, are from france or work at a swapmeet or used car lot, I definitely recommend ANYONE hitting up a ROH show or watching the ppv's they have on every few months!!

There is no 'No Photography' rule. The rule that is listed with every Ring of Honor event is that there is no digital photography. That means that you can bring in any camera that is not digital into the building and take whatever photos you want.

The 6 man tag between 911 inc and roddy erick and brent albright was the match of the night in many people's opinion... It infact earned a HUGE chant of PLEASE COME BACK to those guys when it was over, so they certainyl did an awesome job of pleasing some very demanding fans....

Hey Lenny
Do you know why they dont allow photos at live shows ? Ive heard they do allow certain cameras but frown upon others ??

its just talking to someone in person and doing it on a message board are 2 different worlds.

A major part of ROH's revenue is their DVD sales. They don't want people taping the matches and putting them online.

DCFC and Frankie both looked good to great. I don't think I've ever seen Francisco take as much of a beating as he did last night. He held his own though. The POUNCE to Roderick into the guardrail was awesome and one of the biggest pops of the night from the crowd. From what I heard of the Coral Springs show I would expect to see more DCFC in ROH.

Brad Attitude also impressed in his match against Austin Aries. At first a lot of people were hesitant to think it would go well because of the difference in styles and training that an FCW guy gets over a guy who has been on the indy scene for years (i.e. Austin Aries). However, after a slow start the match progressed to a point that the crowd was very in favor of more Attitude. He did some kind of double half gainer thing off the ropes that was awesome in its simplicity but in it being something that could be blown easily.

Sean Osbourne's match against Lynn was considered acceptable by most. I heard he did better the night before. His match with Lynn last night was slightly off. I've heard great things about Osbourne before though and am sure he'll get more chances.

Chasyn and Sal looked strong in beating new fan favorite Bobby Dempsey and and Ninja Brown. There wasn't that much to the match to go into detail about.

Ronnie is progressing nicely. You can tell he's green but moving his way up. The crowd were very behind Brett and really liked him. He did some things that showed he knew what was going on around him and how to best take advantage of the situation. The butt splash to him was vicious though.

What an incredible show last night. The first thing I noticed was how many fans and workers from the Indy scene were there to support the Florida Indy wrestlers who did an outstanding job. I had said that I thought the six man tag match would steal the show and I believe it did. It was incredible some of the bumps each one took. I am sooo proud of those six as I have seen them for years now and to see them rise to this level and for the fans to yell"please come back" was awesome. I'm looking forward to FIP tonight as it looks like it will be a great show as well.
